How we handle data, and what we don’t claim.
We measure what AI says. We don’t claim to know how it works inside.
What we collect
Your brand name, website URL, industry, and focus areas (the topics we track); the AI answers to the questions we ask; and, if you give it, an email address. We use it to send reports and to let you into your dashboard.
API and model providers
We ask these AI providers questions directly through their APIs: OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and Perplexity.
How we store it
AI answers are stored as received, in encrypted storage (AWS S3 with SSE-KMS). Any personal data is held in encrypted tables. Analytics never contains personal data: no email, no names.
Customer access
Monitor customers open their dashboard from a sign-in link we email them. No password. Reports are sent by email to the address you give us.
Errors and partial scans
When an AI assistant cannot be reached, that answer counts as missing data. It never counts as proof that your brand was not named. Every report shows which AI assistants answered and how many answers each number is based on.
Confidentiality
Free-scan data never enters our curated research. We keep competitor names (ones you give us, or ones AI names in its answers) only as part of your scan, report, or monitoring history. We do not access competitors' private data or sell your data.
Subprocessors
We rely on Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments), Amazon SES (transactional email), PostHog (privacy-respecting product analytics), and the four AI providers listed above. Contact us for our current subprocessor details.
Access, retention, and deletion
You can request access to, or deletion of, your data at any time. Email hello@envoyra.com and we will confirm our current retention and deletion practices for your account.

Limitations
Results show what AI recommended during the stated testing period. They do not show why an AI assistant gave an answer. They do not predict future answers, and they are not permanent rankings. AI answers can vary from person to person and over time.
