Frequently asked questions

Common questions about AI recommendations and how Envoyra works.

AI usually names only a few brands for each buying question. The brands it names most often tend to have more independent articles and reviews. They are also clearly tied to their category across the web. Envoyra shows where AI names you, where it does not, and who it names instead. We report what AI actually said. We do not claim to know how private AI systems work inside.

Yes. Ranking well on Google does not mean AI will recommend you. AI answers draw on many sources, and each AI assistant uses them differently. We often see brands that rank well in search but are rarely or never named by AI.

We measure five things: how often AI names you when buyers ask buying questions in your category (recommendation presence); who it names instead (competitor displacement); which websites its answers cite (citation sources); where one AI assistant names you and another does not (engine divergence); and whether this is changing over time. We check Perplexity, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

Buyers who ask AI assistants what to buy may never hear about you. AI names your competitors instead. The first step is to know whether you are named at all and, if not, who is named instead.

SEO tools track where you rank in search results. Envoyra tracks whether AI assistants recommend your brand when buyers ask what to buy. These are different problems. A brand can rank well on Google and never be named by AI, or the other way around.

Envoyra analyzes ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), and Perplexity. The AI Presence Audit asks ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity. The AI Recommendation Monitor asks all four every week. The free scan asks Perplexity only. Coverage may expand as more AI assistants become worth measuring.

A one-time check of whether AI recommends your brand today. The audit covers recommendation presence (how often AI names you) across ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity, competitor displacement, citation sources, and how the AI assistants differ. A plain-English summary is included. We show what we asked and how many answers we got. $49.99 one-time.Request an AI Presence Audit →

The AI Recommendation Monitor is $99/month. You get a dashboard you open from an email link (no password). We write buyer questions for you, and you check them before the first scan. Then we scan every week on Perplexity, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini (100 AI answers per focus area). You see week-by-week trends for up to 3 focus areas (topics we track).

Yes. Monitor renews monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from your dashboard. If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, we'll refund that payment in full. Ask at hello@envoyra.com.

Recommendation presence is how often AI names your brand when buyers ask what to buy in your category. We report it as a count: how many answers named you, out of all the answers we collected.

Engine divergence means different AI assistants give different answers to the same question. Perplexity might name you often while Claude never does. So we show each AI assistant's results separately, not one combined number.

A negative mention is when AI names your brand but steers buyers away. For example, it may raise concerns or point to alternatives.
