AI Search Visibili-Tea ☕
No. 1 · Oct 27
Spilling the tea on what AI tells your customers about you. One finding, every two weeks.
About three minutes in Golara’s own voice. Prefer to read? The words are below and the full issue is on this page.
The words, as you listen
Hi, it's Golara. This is the first one, so let me say hello properly.
As a kid I was sure I would be an architect. I studied it in Iran, left in my last year for a chance in the US, and felt lost for a while.
Looking back, I never stopped. I just got a bigger site. Envoyra is the newest room, where my art and my curiosity sit at the same table.
Here is one thing we learned about AI visibility. AI can know your name and still not name you.
Think of two questions you could ask a friend. First: "Do you know the bakery on Main Street?" Easy. They say yes. Second: "Where should I buy bread?" Now your friend has to pick a few names, and the bakery has to be one of them.
We asked four AI tools both questions about one well-known brand. It knew the name every time, twenty-four of twenty-four. But when we asked where to buy, it was named in only three of four hundred answers.
So what? Someone who has never heard of you can only ask the second question. That one brings them to your door.
Try it in five minutes. Ask an AI tool "What is" and then your business. Then ask who to buy from in your field, without your name. Now you know which gap you have.
Here is my question for you. When a customer asks an AI tool who to buy from, does it name you? Run those two checks, then hit reply and tell me what you found. I read every one.
From my table this time: keep walking to the next shot. Sales is a lot like golf. You hit the shot, you let it go, you walk to the next one. And people make time for the people they want to make time for.
On this day, October twenty-seventh, nineteen fourteen, the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas was born in Swansea.
Slowly, and on purpose. Golara.
Epigraph
The calmer I got, the better I listened to the world,
moving into the future no matter what
has happened in the past.

A question for you
When a customer asks an AI tool who to buy from, does it name you?
Run the two checks above, then hit reply and tell me what you found. I read every one, and I will share a few next time without names.
From my table
Keep walking to the next shot.
Sales is a lot like golf. You hit the shot, you let it go, you walk to the next one. I am learning to let calls slide off me instead of sticking. If I keep going, I can't lose. If I stop, I do.
Also: people make time for the people they want to make time for. So I choose who I make time for, even on the days that move too fast.

A public art piece I made. I asked people to sign a petition with paint instead of a pen. Every square is one person.
